This robust screw cap was specifically developed as an original replacement part for the main top opening of HDPE storage carboys with capacities ranging from 5 to 60 liters. It is made of a chemical-resistant plastic that exhibits excellent resistance to common solvents and aggressive stain mixtures. The precisely manufactured thread, in combination with the integrated seal, ensures an absolutely air- and liquid-tight closure. This prevents leakage during transport as well as premature drying or evaporation of valuable technical liquids during storage. The cap is universally compatible with all carboys in this series, regardless of whether they are equipped with or without a discharge tap. The non-slip outer structure also allows for effortless opening and firm closing, even when using work gloves.
